Welcome to my Cobra AeroJet Max driver review.

I have always struggled with a slice off the tee, which has cost me a lot of distance and accuracy. I have tried various drivers that claim to help with this problem, but none of them have really worked for me.

Performance

Cobra AeroJet Max Driver Review

I tested the Cobra AeroJet Max driver on a launch monitor and on the course, using both stock shaft options (Kai’li Blue S and Helium Nanocore R) in different loft settings (10.5 degrees standard, 9 degrees lower, 12 degrees higher). Here are my findings:

Forgiveness

The Cobra AeroJet Max driver is very forgiving, as I expected from its large head size and high MOI design. Even when I missed the center of the face, the ball speed and distance did not drop significantly, and the dispersion was still manageable.

The PWR-BRIDGE and the carbon crown and sole helped to keep the clubhead stable and balanced throughout the swing, giving me a solid feel and feedback.

The draw-biased weighting and the offset face also helped me to reduce my slice and hit more fairways. I found that the heel weight setting and the higher loft setting worked best for me, as they gave me more launch and draw.

The back weight setting and the lower loft setting gave me more spin and fade, which I did not need.

Speed and Distance

However, they are not very dramatic or noticeable, as they only change the ball flight by a few yards or degrees. They are more useful for tweaking my performance rather than changing my shot shape.
